At the end of 1999, the MOS and bipolar IC assembly production line of Hua Jin Electron Group were integrated into IC assembly plant.
In 2001, moved into the new assembly workshop with the area of 5 000m 2 , and received the award of ¡°R&D of TQFP High Density IC Packages¡±.
In 2002, Hua Jin was acquired by China Resources Group and the China Resources Microelectronics (Holdings) Limited (CRM) was founded, the IC assembly plant becomes to be the affiliation of which.
In 2003, it registered as Wuxi China Resource Micro-Assembly Tech., Ltd (briefly named as ¡°Anst¡±), and came to be an independent affiliation of CRM.
In 2004, Anst purchased 360 mu's land in Wuxi New District and started to construct the new production base for semi-conductor assembly. Construction area for the first phase amounts for 50 000 m^2 of which No. 1 main workshop covers 28 000 m^2 .
In 2004, China Semi-conductor Industry Association, and China Electronic & Information Industries Development Academy regarded it as ¡°the most promising semi-conductor assembly & test enterprise in China¡±.
Early in 2005, first phase project of the new production base for semi-conductor assembly completed, and Anst moved into the new base soon in April.
In November 2005, Anst passed the takeover audit of ISO 9001:2000 standard, and got the Quality Management System Certificate from qualified from LRQA.
In February 2006, Anst passed the takeover audit of ISO 14001:2004 ¡¢ OHSAS 18001:1999 standard, and got the EHS Management System Certificate from LRQA.
In June 2006, Anst passed the audit of ISO/TS 16949:2002 Standard and got the quality management system certificate issued by LRQA.
On June 24 th 2006, China Resource Micro-electronics and STATS Chip PAC came into agreement that the two parties would have a joint venture and cooperate inside Anst. According to the agreement, Anst buys over 1000 sets of assembly-test equipments from STATS Chip PAC with a price of $ 35 million US dollars in cash that should be paid by stages within 2010. STATS Chip PAC also transfers more than 30 varieties of new assembly techniques and related customer orders. Accordingly, Anst would get the world-class management system and operations flows, and keep ahead in the field in China. Meanwhile, China Resource Micro-electronics and STATS Chip PAC increased an investment of $ 30 million US dollars into Anst to expand production capacity and technology upgrading, as well as the construction of 35000 m 2 ' workshop and facilities. For the increased investment, China Resource Micro-electronics and STATS Chip PAC respectively holds 75% and 25%.
